Do it yourself Postal Art Creation Kit
POSTEZ L’ ART! is a project that brings together an exhibition, an artist residency at the Maison de la culture Janine-Sutto along cultural mediation activities. For several weeks now, I have been leading postal art creation workshops in elementary to high schools, at youth centers, and in various organizations working with people dealing with mental or physical health problems. These very enriching meetings show me art’s true goodness!
A “do it yourself mailing art kit” is the mailing of the month. It contains a card, stencils, phosphorescent paint, a prestamped envelope and a paintbrush. I invite my subscribers to create their own card, to be mailed to a loved one, or to themselves. They can also choose to return it to the Maison de la culture, which will make sure to repost it over to a person living in isolation.
