The calendars

I rented my first studio on April 1, 1989, on Clark St., between Maisonneuve Blvd and Ontario St. Once the lease was signed, I urgently had to figure out a way to pay the rent. So I offered my  acquaintances to subscribe to calendars, at a cost of $25 per month. I personally delivered the works to subscribers’ homes. From April 1989 to March 1991, I produced about fifteen calendars per month. And so here are the beginnings of what was to become, in January 1997, the definitive mail art project that I still continue to carry out today.
